M104 and A99


104 horizontal and mount the a99 right above it, put an rf choke aka ugly coil at feed point of the a99, the m104 will act as a ground plane per say for the a99 and will work well no loss

All sort of information online, I think for 27mhz specifically it is 5 1/4 turns on 4" inside diameter.

There is a chart some where on this forum that gives exactly how many turns to get the best choke for the target frequency.

Do not worry about the arm chair engineers that will tell you only this way works or only that way works.

Google is your friend and YES the RF choke does work and it helps prevent rfi and cmc especially on 1/2 wl end fed antennas.

Most important is you get your antennas installed start making contacts and have fun.
