This recap took the best signals only...for a small group of regular contacts among all reports listed on my recent Signal Reports #17 thru #48.

I added up the signals for each antenna and divided by the number of contacts for an average of the best signals.

My Gain Master and my Sigma 4 tied for 1st place at 7.9 Sunits average signal with my Wolf .64 in a close 2nd at 7.7 Sunits.

I was not tracking the height here. The heights are however, noted on all 48 reports for anyone to check. I used two P/U poles that are similar and I pushed them up as high as I could, given the situation at the time. Most of these tests were done with the antennas at the same mounting height.

Booty, all I did in the recap was to go thru my reports from this past fall and spring and pick out the best signals for each of the guys I choose as regular contacts. I listed the signals under the antennas noted at the top of the columns for each contact. This comprised about 5 months of work that I recapped together, and the focus here was on the best individual signal for each guy, each antenna, and not the averages for each report...as I posted before.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
