Do all models have the same filtering as the one pictured?
I would tnink so gamegetter. They are really good power supplies for the money if you don't want to build one yourself. I haven't had any issues with my s-400-12v. It's not real old but it is used daily and most of the time is left on 24hrs a day when I am at home. Just my experience with them. I'm sure there are some that will have totally different opinion, but they seem to be a good power supply IMO. Good day.
i can also vouch for the MEGAWATT , I have one running my backup icom 7200 and a 2m/440 rig and it works great!! probly going to pick up another one just to have around

Wondering mostly about it causing noise on the radio....already catch some noise off the power lines
Nope not that radio, but an icom 746 with a very sensitive receiver!! It doesn't pick up anything anywhere I have been on it and can receive. Not sure this helps you but my radio is an HF radio kinda like yours.

I have a S400 running my TS 2000. Works great. No problems.
I have two of the S-400's in parallel with the isolator and have run some major radios and amps for testing. Been running them for years with no problems at all.

Hi, no more boat racing. Too many friends got killed. I decided to get out while I still could. Plus it costs a fortune. Now I just lake race for fun.
Is it possible you could show how you hooked the two in parallel??
Sure, now some people have done it without a 90 amp diode isolator (RV Battery Isolator) but there is a big risk in burning one of the power supplies up if you don't know exactly what you are doing and match the heat output of both units. I will try to up load the instruction I made for running two S-350-12 or two S-400-12 in Parallel. The new S-700-12 can be run in parallel with no isolator and as many units as you like can be connected together. It's 50 amps continuous at 14 VDC.
