Some years ago, I drove a company truck, that had an SBE 23 channel CB. It had a mic that resembled the Turner/Telex RK-56, but it had a metal housing. It may have been a Telex.
It was my favorite handheld, had some wieght to it. Antone ever heard of such a mic? I'd like to find one.

Here is the catalog from 1972: 1972 TURNER Microphone Catalog

I am sure you could figure out the model based on this.
Back in the 70's Conrac corporation owned Turner.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
