I got a brand new MFJ-259B and i'm looking for a cushioned carrying case to take it out around the field, anyone know where i can find one?

MFJ carrys them but to tell ya the truth a hard case is better because if you don"t watch it the soft case will turn it on with the case being so tight.have to recharge my batteries because of that.

Having 'knocked' a '259 around a bit over the years, a carrying case is NOT a bad idea. A 'hard' case protects more than a 'soft' case, which is good if you are not always 'graceful' in the knocking around thingy. The 'perfect' carrying case would be something that's sort of 'firm' instead of 'hard', if that makes sense? Don't bother asking, cuz if I knew I'd have one my self. If you figure out where to find them, or if you design your own, I'd be interested!

I was thinking that something like a three inch, three ring binder would make a nice shell. Maybe there is one that would be just the right size...
