Mic for Uniden Madison

I have a Uniden Madison with the red led clock (8719 chip). Looking for a nice mic that will sound good with my voice. I need more bass in the audio and talk mostly SSB. I have been told 600 ohm and 1000 ohm is what I need. What do you guys suggest?

A Turner Super Sidekick if you can find one. Or an Astatic 10DA head on a TUG8 base.
Both very vintage but great SSB mics.

Astatic 1104c is a decent one also, if you can find one.

If you need more bass, an amplified D104 would be a great starting point. The capacitors (I think there is 3 of them) can be changed to different values to allow more bass through. I think there is a couple different threads here about this modification. You will get the punch you need with the bass you want.

I have a d104 hand mic but I am told I sound high pitched. Even my 575 does not adjust enough lower tones to the audio. I used to run a pro rucker power desk mic with a tine control that was great but it died.

Did you try the mods for more bass on the D104M6B?

Astatic 1104c is a decent one also, if you can find one.

His 575 is the mobile version in a hand mike enclosure of the 1104C

How do I know this because I have 3 1104C in my collection along with 2 575M6

Since I have no idea what your voice might sound like...

Whatever "ohm" you choose, make sure it's on a Microphone that works.

Turner +2 has more base than the aforementioned ones if you can find one.
also a Shure 444 has more low end response.
