Mobile Antenna Choice

One of our contributors — wishing to remain anonymous — asked me if big truck experience would be of help in antenna selection.
I hemmed and hawed. Decided I should throw it out to you all.
Big trucks never get stuck crossing a speed bump. He just needs to remind himself to keep the air bags pumped up on that low rider. I don’t believe there’s any antenna that will suppress road spark noise.
If I were a betting man, I'd say that's Bobby's work vehicle minus the magnetic door sign.

That chrome PRESIDENT Texas antenna will look & work great about 3/4 of the way back that mile-long roof.

Worked briefly for a trucking firm had a new metro division that did delivery. “Tailgate”, as to job description title. The boys told me they didn’t run many miles.
Then they told me the name. Decided that — as it sounded like AND felt unlucky — I wouldn’t ever ask for transfer to: The Final Mile.
