I am running a autek meter and its a great meter. But it is a "computing meter" and is tight!! I'm wondering what everyone else is using? I would like to be able to have a disconnectable lead to take it in and out fairly quick. Some one mentioned a Bulldog and it has a quick disconnect. Any thoughts?

Charger Nice Job

Has anyone had any experience with Diawa meters? (Perferably the CN-410M) I am looking to buy a meter to mount in the truck, (since she won't let me buy a new radio yet ) Thanks..

Timex I heard all good things about them. I kinda came into a "cross needle" style and don't care for it. The construction is very nice as is the fit and finish. So I'm kinda biased

Yeah, I thought about the problems with trying to read "cross-needles" while driving too...So I ordered an Aries A-460...should be here soon...(plus the 460 reads up to 500w vs. the 150w on the Diawa)...

If you know how much power your radio is putting out, why do you need an inline (lossy) meter to constantly tell you?

I have an Aries A-460 digital and really like this meter, easy to read at a glance while driving if you want to leave inline

KD7eze, to answer your question...some just like to keep tabs on whats going on.I check mine all the time and if something changes I can shut er down quickly and find the problem before (hopefuly) any damage is done.
