I have a modulation meter from a DAK IX that I acquired in an enclosure, what it was for I have no idea. My question is can I hook it to my 2000 gtl to view modulation with my 2000 gtl in Power out or SWR?

Don't know, but if the coil in the mod meter is the same as the S-meter, you could have a problem. Using the DAK's S-meter with a Cobra 148GTL circuit board required a buffer amp to drive the DAK meter coil. Connecting it directly would only get deflection roughly a quarter of the way up the scale with the trimpot maxed. An op-amp chip took up the slack just fine.

Had a schemo of the buffer amp we used somewhere around here. Been a few years.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
