Monitor Your Ham Radio With An Oscilloscope (VIDEO)

Very cool. I run a Yaesu FT-101ZD in the shack with a YO-901 Scope attached. I have it setup to monitor my output and I can also use it as a band scope to find signals.

I have channel 1 monitoring my tx signal and channel 2 monitors my receiver IF so I can look at the signal of whom I am talking too. My Kenwood TS-820S has the rx IF OUT port.

If I would hook it up to the FT-901dm I am repairing then I could monitor incoming sigs as well but the 101zd wont work that way with the YO-901.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
