Good morning folks, its 00:28 hrs as of this posting. Got another question. At the moment I'm listening on 28.295.00 on USB and there is a Morse pattern active on the frequency. I don't know any of the code but from listening to it it seems to be a repetitive pattern. Its signal strength rises up to a five and decreases to a one on my radios meter. I checked the cw mode and there is nothing there .Its clear, not even frequency hash/ crackling. Is it normal to use Morse on USB mode?

Good Morning Captain K. No I didn't do a retune. It didn't enter my mind to do that. I thought how it was funny that there was no signal on cw.
I'll do a retune next time I hear it. There was a distinct rhythm in the message, like a one note musical piece. It might sound silly to say, but it was quite pleasent to listen to.
Thank - you for the reply and for the internet link. It was an interesting few hours.
Fair play and thanks again Captain K.
