Multiple units 1 PTT line

As a rule you can isolate the two keying inputs by adding a diode in line with each line. Anode (not banded end) to the center pin of the accessory's keying jack and cathode (banded end) to the radio's keying jack.

And if you are keying two identical units, the diodes are probably not even necessary. Just tie the two inputs together.

The diodes serve to isolate two potentially different relay voltages from each other. Serves to keep one from feeding into the other. If both are the same, no need to do that.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
