Nice, the 148gtl is worth keeping. Or at least attempting to repair if it doesn’t work.
Pretty sure the 78X is the model featured in the Dukes of Hazzard. They get offered for stupid money on fleabay. No idea what people actually pay for one.

Proving yet again that some people are real suckers LOL! Spending $1700 on a 4 watt radio is just insane!
I suspect that they end up installed in lavishly-expensive replicas of General Lee. If you have the money for that kind of toy, the CB is just another accessory.
