I'd have a shack up there. You'd know when your boss was showing up. Beautiful scenery with most excellent scenery. Just suck walking up and down. Suppose you'd just pee out the window. Put a beam on top and turn by hand.

Alberta has a line of manned lookouts as well, most are SOTA peaks. I've been to 6/7 of them. Some colourful personalities manning them.

I live within Wayne National Forrest. There are 3 old towers around here, but I never saw them manned. Used to climb them as kids. They must've abandoned them before the 60's.
