My other hobby....

Nice ponies there Highlander ! From what I understand the Haflingers have a very nice disposition. We raised thoroughbreds growing up which tend to be high strung. How old are the one's you have ?

Clara is almost 5, she drives and rides very well. She is very sweet, if a little mischievious and impatient. She is very outgoing and is very demonstrative when she greets you.

Alastair is about 1.5, and is very, very calm and good tempered. He follows me around like a puppy.

They are really more my wife's hobby, but since we refitted our barn and turnout and moved them from the place they were being boarded to our place, I have been quite involved in their care and feeding.

I have never really "got" horses until now, and I still have lots to learn, but these Haflingers are very gentle and easy to work with, which gives me alot of confidence.

It is a very "earthy" hobby, it awakens something in me that has probably been ingrained in all humans since they first got together with horses on a symbiotic level. Very relaxing, and a good balance to the radio/electronics/computer hobby!

I know what you mean by "earthy" and relaxing. I always felt that way working on a farm growing up. When my kids were young I bought an older show horse that was great with the kids. The only thing she would do out of the way was sit on her rear end when she was tired of being ridden .That was funny. But I had a pony I bought from some Amish and he left you everywhere but in the saddle. LOL !

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
