My older uv5r has this feature, but the last two I got in December do not, at some point in production they changed the knob.
Still neat tho...

Sure enough, it does. The ones I have were ones from many years ago. Haven't bought anything as of recently.

I had the Antenna Locking Ring keep getting loose on my TID HT. Got one of these a couple of months ago to fix. Called an X Wrench or X Tool - Has 4 sizes, should fit most everything out there. $10 on eBay
