In order for me to get my Uniden SM250KTS 440 Mhz radio reprogrammed, the guy that can do it needs a copy of the Relm/Uniden APX812 software on a 3.5" disk, because he has to do it from an older computer that does not have a CD drive, and the program runs on DOS, not windows....
I actually found, downloaded, and burned the software to a CD-R, but I have no way of getting it onto a 3.5" disk. Thought my old laptop in the shack had both a 3.5" and CD drive, but what I thought was a 3.5" disk drive turns out to be a drive for some weird mini-disk device that never became very successful, and is no longer made.
If anyone has the APX812 software on a 3.5" disk, please help me out here, this is a good working 25 watt 440 radio, and I'd hate to see it go to waste because it couldn't be reprogrammed........
