Need help....need roger beep info.

well the white wire is Audio.....

1-Shield (ground)
2-Yellow (audio)
3-Red (transmit)
4-White (receive)

you need to cut the red wire from the roger beep unit ,itself
I don't think there is a roger beep out there that the radio power would go through it,but you never know..
It would be better if you got the roger beep name of the unit or snap a nice pic for more help....

Most just hook to the back of the mic plug...but you never know who and how it was hooked up as were they patched in to the mic circuit

If u just cut the red wire thats not gonna do it.. All your doing is killing power to the beep.. BUT the beep has to have power going to it or the radio wont key up as the transmit wire runs thru the roger beep..
Look at the beep... Undo the red, black, white, and green wire fom the radio... U should have one more wire coming from the radio to the beep.. Undo this wire from the beep and connect it to the mic jac where the green wire was attached..

hope this helps, if not just let me know.
