new to forum but not new to cb/ham...im torn between sirio m400 imax 2000 or maco v58..i had a maco v58 but couldn't get that thing up above 10-20 ft...but I live on the highest point in town and surrounded by tall trees around my house..

I do like my antenna specialist M400, and have read good reports on the sirio version. mine is on a 10 foot pole on top of a single story house.

Might want to look into the sirio vector 4000. Just put one up and they are a nice antenna. And mine has made me some contacts already!! Been up less then an hour.

Cowboy how well does your m-400 work local & skip? Thank u all for the replies
well, I'm near detroit and have hit all the bottom states except new mexico, all the east coast states, oregon, iowa, illinois, oklahoma, missouri, arkansas, kentucky, tennesee, edmonton in alberta canada, the united kingdom and scotland.

don't know how to answer about the local, I haven't asked for meter readings for quite a while, I've carried on convo's with mobiles 10 miles away with 2 swinging 6 watts...

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
