First off, I am a truck driver, so the radio is part of what keeps me out of trouble. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

I used to have a 29 LTD, but it went belly up.

So I looked on ebay and found another 29, but when I got it, noticed it was a bit different and it is a XLR series.

Is there much difference in them, I notice a few things different on it. And will this one be as good as the LTD I used to have?

Also, anyone know where to get a owners manual for this radio.

Any help on these questions is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tommy Davis

uPD858 PLL.

Very strong modulation.

Peaky-Tweaky stuff:

Coils to peak:L11, L12, L15

VR5 is AMC control.

For 'extra channels' remember the PLL in this unit is the uPD858 and uses BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) programming and not straight binary.

See www.smlec.com/cb/upd858truthchart.htm for details.
