easiest way is to buy a vox mic or vox box like the mobile hands free units, building one would be a bit of a hassel, i know what you want it for and that may simplify things a little as you prolly could get away with not having a vox amplifier so long as you have it cranked right up and use a couple of resistors as a divider or a variable pot to set the input to the radio to around 20 millivolts, then copy a keying circuit from a box using small relay, you will need a coupling cap around .47uf or larger tapped into the audio before the attenuator and another from base of keying transistor to ground to hold the relay in and act as vox delay, 7 or 8 components should do it, if that dont work then you aint got enough voltage to switch the transistor and ya would need a small amplifier to act as vox amp, i think i know which option you will choose bro, good luck.<img src=http://www.wwdx.org/smilies/posticon25.gif ALT=":25">
