New 60 Meter Update

Well after reading what the FCC posted recently, I would wait for new HF updates before I bought one. The new 60 meter rules go into affect December 18, 2011

Eliminating 1 channel and replacing it with a new one

Increasing Power to 100 watts PEP

Allowing three additional emissions

Amateur Radio Service at 5 MHz | FCC.gov

There's quite a large QRP on 60m.
I've worked some with my radio turned down to 5 w. nice group.

yes, there is. most of us use channel 2.

last week one of our group worked 4000 miles on 100 Mw!!!
