Only thing I found different....i had to switch the red and blue. I plugged it in and noticed there was no sound and transmitting at full power...then when i keyed mic i could hear......switched them and worked perfect

Hmmm,got that wiring pinout from their site and my Mic wiring book jived with it. Reverse red and blue. I'll note that in my book. Thank you!!

No problem. I know ive found multiple websites with confusion over there being no black wire in the newer superstar dm-452. Perhaps they switched stuff around. All i know is I am extremely happy with the Radio now and getting great reports on the sound. All i gotta do now is clean up the receive audio which is super muffled. Not happy with the stock speaker or quality of audio with an external.
