Cool, now you just have to wait for your call to be posted. Then you'll be getting catalouges in the mail and local ham club info. 2M is alot of fun, you get to listen to HF , too. Looks like a good radio.
 
Thanks guys. I have a month to study for CW. The local club has tests every 3rd saturday. So hopefully I can upgrade then. I would really like to use HF also.

P.S. Is that T2W that keeps popping in? (the shhhh. guy)

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
