I cheated and searched on the numbers in the photo. Hardline connector. So there was somebody at least trying to be serious about RF on that property at some point.

Yes, TM86 nailed it, it's a hardline connector, probably a catv line tech changed it or something when servicing the cable system, assuming you have service on the pole or underground.
