New ICOM HT

Hey All...

i would say stay away from this HT..
it is simply low power..

if you want a good HT....
get Icom T-90A..
it uses litium ion batteries with 5 watts for 6 meters(a useless band for HT's) as well as 2 meters and 70 cm band...

it recieves up to 999.99 mhz

i regularly talk to repeaters (from street level) 60 t0 70 miles away and only thing non original i use is a high gain HT dual band antenna..

the T-90A is often over looked....but works great and most think i am talking from a base when i use it..
it also is super super easy to use..

but although their new one looks like a smaller version of
the T-90A.....it is NOT

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
