To me, rigs like these aren't suited for their advertised purpose. It's like they just cut the control head off a standard base radio and made a "field radio" out of it.

That thing is too darn pretty to be luggin' around up and down trails and the such out in the field. On a table on the patio perhaps. Or in the ham shack maybe. But that's just me.
