I think you are a bit mistaken there ... (In order to use this machine, amateur radio license is required) .... Actually all you need is an AC power supply and an antenna. Cheers.

April fools has already passed.

Anyone can buy these radios but can only operate on the amateur bands according to their license class.

So if you don't have an amateur licence - and you give it 110v and a resonant antenna - it won't work? hehehehe

Huh??? This is nonsense. The 590SG was the only other version released.

Correct....13.8V will work however ;)
