Nice site for kit builders

Wow, they have some pretty neat stuff there. Thanks for the link...looks like a lot of fun to be had.

That antenna analyzer looks promising.

Half way down the page is a poll you can vote on to have them consider making one of their QRP rigs factory assembled instead of kit form. Seems alot of people want an assembled option. I do, I can hardly see as it is.

it is a cute little sucker 42 . i wonder what it will cost and how simple the kit is ?
shouldn't something like that need to be calibrated after its assembled and before it's usable ?

I just got an email back from one of the listed builders. He says he has not yet built this model, but would give it a try.
Quoted:

$50.00 for first 4 hours
$15.00 per hour after that.
This price is for the handheld HF transceiver.

I don't want to be a guinea pig at those figures.

I'm waiting on some more quotes, hopefully from someone that has actually built it. You can download the assembly instructions. I emailed the company regarding the antenna analyse release date. I think I want one.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
