Thanks very much for the advice on correcting the low volume
problem on my RCI 2950DX. I installed a jumper wire between
the ext. speaker and the code key solder connections on the
bottom of the circuit board and it worked fine. Those two
points gave the best results as to restoring the volume.

Hey, cool. That was easier than it sounded. Makes me wonder if we shouldn't just jumper that part when a "DX" radio comes through here. Can't figure more than one owner out of a hundred uses "PA".

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
