I just "looked-up" the call :KA0XTT, both here and on another popular web site.

both sites return bogus info about the call.

how does someone hack the database?:blink:
 

AFAICR, a U.S. Amateur Radio Call Sign properly issued by the FCC will not have the letter X immediately after the numeral. There's a part of the FCC regulations that describes this and other no-nos to prevent Vanity Call seekers from getting one of these calls.

well, so far all replies are correct and agree with why I made the post.

it is a bogus call, that is not in the FCC ULS data base.

I still don't understand how it shows up as valid in the data base that the call sign lookup function uses.
 
From what I understand it was put in the QRZ database, which is NOT the FCC database, purely for informational purposes only. That call sign has not been issued by the FCC. It is fictitious and is used on the TV show Last Man Standing.
