Ok, here is a New one, gotta love youtube

Wonder how he sells the bubble gum job on it.

"I'll make this suck and make it hard to undo"?

I have never seen that before, and I can not understand why.
The rest about ripping the AMC/ALC out is a common way to destroy limiting but the mirror board was a first.

every deltaforce i have seen had a soldered mirror board, i thought that was how they came from the factory, they also used pieces of tin and thick solder to beef up the supply line,
some folk ( not me ) solder them in other exports and/or put a jumper wire to the board to reduce vdrop on the skinny foil trace that feeds it.

Thanks for the post Bob, I have never seen that....like I said this was a first for me.
Maybe we can get some delta force owners to chime in here or post a pic of the inside of there radios?

From the Delta Force service Manual.

CURRENT ALIGNMENT:
For Q171 current is 50mA and above adjust RV114.
For Q168/169 current is 50mA and above adjust RV113 and RV112
Attached the current PCB and solder it in the 3 connector above SJ122 and SJ9
I have never been in one of these so I stand corrected on that point.
Seems like a real pain in the ass.
Again, thanks Bob. (y)
