Opinions on the BK Precision 2040...

I have one..been using it for years,,works ok and does what it is designed to do.
I especially like the attenuation it allows you to really align the receive sensitivity.
there are better options available now but for what it is it works fine.

I have a BK Precision 2040 and a BK Precision E200D. 2040 is good for CBs and is stable. E200D is pretty much the same, but has a much wider frequency range and will do CBs, Ham Gear, as well as broadcast and SW receivers. Cost on Ebay for either one is about the same.

Since I got my E200D, my old 2040 sits and gathers dust. Just my opinion.
