I got one given to me sans tubes. Looks like they take 8908 tubes and I can't find them. Can these be swapped for more common tubes?

Cb tricks shows it using 8908, YouTube videos show it using 8950s. I don't know what to belive. Oh well, as I got it free so no money lost.

I contacted the guy I got it from and he said it used 6lf6 or 6kd6 tubes. He would know as he used to use it until the keying circuit went out. He then removed and sold the tubes.

Ok I just looked inside and it has written 6lf6 by the sockets and they are the narrow pin sockets. Good deal. Then I can use the tubes I have. Just need to fix the keying circuit.
