I have a failed component in my 300a. The component is circular in shape, red in color. It connects from the bridge between the tune and band control and goes over to the 4 6lf6 tubes. The component burned as you can see in the pictures. From what I can still see the component reads erie 402z 3kv.

My 300a will still turn on and everything is working except it has no power out with the amp on operate. The keying relays still function. On stand by power still passes through the amp as it should. On inspection of the bottom side I see no faulty components. I also checked my tubes and they were not damaged.
If I can find a replacement component it looks like it is an easy fix.
If you know what this part is please help.

Here is a picture I found off the net. His looks like it has a capacitor in the location where mine has the failed part.

I looked up a capacitor cheat sheet. I think its 4000pf doorknob. There's a few on ebay rated to 20kv at the moment. Anything over 3kv should be fine. I could be wrong about the code as I don't know what the z is for so hopefully someone else will chime in.

that part on rfparts has max plate volts of 1.8kv. i'm not sure is that ok but it probably is. the ebay link seems fine.

I think around 25-35 dollars on most auction sites.
