Passed the Tech. test

What is easy for one can be a challenge for another. It's nice to be able to welcome another person to the Ham community.

When the band opens up you should be able to hit the 146.820 with no problem. What is your local repeater? I'll point that way and see what I hear.

congrats on passing the tech test, Keep an eye on the arrl database. When it shows up there you can start talking. weather you have the paper at home yet or not. 2 meter and limited 10 meter are fun, but the whole world of hf opens up to you after you get your general ticket. I know that I hit the ground running.

I pulled up your call and your farther out than I thought, probably gonna take a GOOD band opening. I'm good to p/cola and ft/walton on repeaters but thats about it.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
