North coast of the USA.... Da UP!
I have read that Larry Magne has announced on the home page that the web page and all aspects are closing down as of the end of this month....:crying:

Just about 25 years and it is the end of an era and I for one will be missing the comprehensive guide.... The last issue was the 2009 edition with many waiting for the 2010 guide that will never be....

Here is a link to the home page of Passport to World Band Radio:

Yeah I guess Passport was the best thing going but I got frustrated with the listings. Stations come and go and change freqs and times a lot apparently...so there were always many "mistakes" with their listings.

Just not enough paying business in shortwave listening anymore.

Monitoring Times recently dropped their feature article covering SW pirate stations.

That is sort of dumb of them to do that, pirate radio is alive and sort of well! I just posted a video on youtube from last night, WHYP was on the air for several hours.... interesting to say a small amount!

YouTube - WHYP, pirate radio on 6925 AM

Tough catches but fun to try!
