Planning on getting my 'ticket', what used radio should I be looking for?

The FT-890AT is a very good radio. I have two of them. Bought one as a backup for
the one I use as a base rig. (besides other rigs I have) And I really do like the 890.
It is easy to use and NO menu's! Always good audio reports and the receiver is very
good, quiet and yet very sensitive. Couple it to a decent antenna and you will have
a nice setup.

I plan on running an A-99 for 10 meter and cutting a few beam antennas for the others and letting the tuner handle the rest
