I have a couple of guitars, I stopped playing about 25 years ago and started again at the end of last year.
SRV is one style I'm trying to master, very hard. Heavy strings and alot of percussion type playing and lots of thumb.
My main guitar has 10's on the high end and the low E is a 60, huge. Great sound.
The cheap ones are very good now, much better than the junk from the 80's. Back then, a 200$ guitar was almost useless, now they are decent.
I've had many, a 64 Strat, an Explorer, a double cut Melody Maker, an SG,
a Rickenbacker 481 and more than I can remember at the moment.
