If a Cobra 2000 GTL has a MB8719 would it work as a stock no channel mod radio?

It was modded for extra channels but I took the mod out and I’m getting weird frequencies now.

Does it have an 11.325mhz crystal in X3 spot? Its to the right of the PLL and 4 lined up tuning cans towards the left front.
If for some reason X3 crystal was changed then it would be off

Yes, if it had a mb8734 originally, then it would've had a 11.3258mhz loop crystal. Upgrading to the mb8719 we change the loop crystal to 11.1125mhz.

Check to see if a trace has been cut at the pll.

That board was hooked to the mic jack so I’m guessing it’s some type of audio mod.

yup the trace is cut! Will try to get it jumped later, time to go drink a few cold ones!
