Talked to a guy in portugal on usb and he was demanding my callsign....I was like 123 usa he was getting frustrated.Does he not know that u dont need a license for cb in the u.s?I was on 11 meters so no idea what his issue was lol.

You sound new to the international DX scene, there are some differences in the accepted procedures compared to shouting "how 'bout it skipland" on AM .

He was probably looking for your club affiliation or division number, though the USA would have been a give away.An American freeband callsign would be something similar to:

2AT420

This would be spoken as Two Alpha Tango Four Two Zero. The two would let the DX station know you are in the United States, the Alpha Tango would tell someone what DX group you belong to and the 420 would represent your unit number with in your DX group.

Should have said: This is Aldo, 1AT01

Probably the most bootlegged callsign on 11M.
