I live in an apartment so I cannot put up an outdoor antenna, so I made a modified dipole, gets me about 20 miles on a stock radio.

I like it!
I wonder how one would work using two Wilson 1000 antennas instead of the T2000's. Without the 10" extension rods the coils would be a lot closer together. Don't know what effect that would have.

At one point I replaced it with a full-sized wire version but have gone back to this one.
