President Jackson 2 Modulation modification

President Jackson 2 Modulation modification.
After this modification your Jackson 2 has a super modulation audio on FM/AM and SSB with the original microphone! The original microphone is very good.

You only have to chance 3 parts on the main unit and remove 2 caps behind the mic. Jack.

Change R 561 from original 33k to 330k

This will power up the mic. gain.

Change C 472 from original 220 uF to 22 uF
This will shorten the limiter time.

Change R 546 from original 2,2k to 10k.
his resistor is on the lower side from the main unit. This will raise the limitation point

Remove cap. C 701 / C 702.
This caps are behind the mic. jack, this will raise the high tones from your modulation.

After you have made this modification you have to readjust the Pot. RT 203 and RT 452 for AM and RT 451 for FM.

Now have fun with your modified President Jackson 2 and the original Microphone

just want to know whats wrong with my gear, I test it under AM/FM with the Diamond Meter, the RF power max is 1.5 w only while SSB is about 12Watt.
How to tune up the power of AM/FM?
