Different strokes for different folks. I have used a 2510 back in the '90's And i have had 3 different generations of the RCI 2950. I was very pleased with my 2950 for the use that i put it through. To scanning 26 mhz to 27 mhz and having my 6 favorite channels. The RCI done very well in my semi-truck. And running way down below ch.1 and still keeping contact on the highway ch.19 It has done it's job very well for my applications. JMHO. I have read that the 2510 is a better radio and i'm sure they are right, but i will continue to use an RCI- 2900 series.
