It's a nice little radio after you get use to the menu system. I had a bad experience with mine at first because I got one off frequency ( Bad part in the SSB circuit ) but after 3 repair shops President sent me a new one which I'm happy with. I guess any company can have a bad radio once in a while, but most who own them speak highly of them. Everybody has different requirement of their radio.

I have one and it's awesome in the mobile because of the front firing speaker. works best with the stock mike.
