PRIDE 100 AMPLIFER... HELP. HELP, HELP

I purchased a Pride 100 Linear Amp. on Ebay, The seller
said a Transistor fell off the P.C. Board ?? The Transistor was a
Trimmer Capacitor.. My problem is I can not figure where to solder
it back.. I found a Schematic and a few photos for the PRIDE 150 Amp.
The trimmer looks like it is held on by 2 Brown Wirewound Resistors..
There are some "Solder Stains" on my P.C. Board. I am stumped and
cannot figure it out.. Maybe a Schematic or link would help ???
How bout it "Loose Cannon" Give it a Shot"...

I've worked on a few of these ;)

They all had aerovox variable caps on the output transformers or swamping cap. Most had silver mica caps soldered to the through holes on them to get them closer to the expected range needed for tuning. Some even have them on the input transformer.

While tuning them you really need to be looking at the input tune of the amplifier as well as the output tune into a good 50 ohm dummy load. If you don't have a spectrum analyzer.

Just turning the input and output tx caps for the most forward power is how you end up with harmonic splatter... just because your meters says more power doesn't mean it's clean and useful on frequency power.

I don't remember them having variable output tune caps fwiw.
