I was wondering if the procomm patriot 12 base antenna would be a good entry level base station antenna? Any thoughts?

Ok, I think I'll keep homemade ground plane antenna. It works. Not pretty though. Thank you for the feedback .

I have had great luck with my A99.

Solarcon A99 was like $74 at Zoro with shipping included if you sign up for emails first they send you a code to use on first purchase. That's what I did

I've heard a lot of good things about the A99. I may just have to buy the Antron.

Skip the Pat-12 & A99 and just go straight to the Maco 5/8, Imax-2000, Vector, or Gainmaster.

the pat-12 is junk cant get the swr down. i bought it brand new the tuning rings do nothing keep what you have or get a99 or the imax-2000
