I am on on psk/rtty on 20 meters.
As everyone knows I had trouble getting the interfaces going, and finally sold them.

I talked to a chap on cq100 which psk/rtty is easy to do. Anyhow he said he used some cables sold via a chap on ebay<guy is in england>, said they worked first time using the pc soundcard and what program you have.
I bought a set<$29>, and plugged into the ft 857d and the pc...boom worked first time on both modes..using fldigi program...
It took a while but enjoying it.

If you want to purchase a cable//1 for data socket..1 for cat socket..just go to ebay and put in data cable ft857d...

I'm not sure, but try looking for the home page for 'G4HFQ'. He's a Yaesu 'nut', and does programming. I seem to remember he has/knows where to get those cables. I know I've got that sort of information somewhere, just gotta find it... oh boy.
