In an earlier post, I mentioned that I had released QK4 Android mobile, primarily targeting phones. The app is now officially "QK4 Mobile" and supports both phone and tablet layouts for both Android & iOS. Best of all, it's open source and free!
The app now supports FT8/FT4 with a built-in app, which includes ADIF logging:
It supports Midi CW devices such as the N6ARA TinyMidi:
And the Halikey Midi:
It also supports connected external Dial support for the Lynovation CTR2 Midi, which also has its own input for CW paddles:
This device has a programmable dial and buttons; the app uses those to invoke built-in functions or self-programmable K4 macros:
You can even hook up two devices at the same time!
The complete list of latest features is always at https://github.com/worldwidedx/QK4-Mobile. We hope to have it in both the Google Play Store and Apple App store soon. The app is always free. The contributors to the project will do our best to always keep it current with any supported K4 feature, provided we have the personal budgets to do so (for example, if new hardware such as the K4HD board is released).
Enjoy!
