You know. I would love to have one of those just because people say that the performance is so much more over any cb or export radio out there. But i swear after looking at that pic i don't think i would be smart enough to turn the damn thing on!

each of those buttons will do 2 or 3 things. most of them you touch once when you are setting it up, after that its a few knobs here or there.

My FT-857 does as well as the FT-897 and possibly others as well. It has several shades of blues,greens,orange/red,and even a few puuky shades of purple....or is it mauve? 32 colours in all.
